Paralegal Test
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support to attorneys, legal teams, and business stakeholders. This role assists with legal research, document preparation, case management, filings, discovery, contract administration, and other activities that support efficient and accurate legal operations.
Paralegal Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with case preparation, legal research, document review, filings, and matter management.
Draft, format, proofread, organize, and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, agreements, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal and factual research using online databases, court records, statutes, regulations, and other authoritative sources.
Collect, organize, review, summarize, and maintain case-related documents, evidence, records, and correspondence.
Support discovery activities, including document requests, interrogatories, responses, production, privilege review, and discovery tracking.
Prepare and maintain case files, matter databases, litigation calendars, deadlines, time records, and status reports.
Coordinate court filings, service of process, hearing materials, deposition logistics, meetings, and other legal proceedings.
Assist with contract administration, including preparing drafts, tracking reviews and approvals, maintaining contract records, and monitoring obligations.
Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Monitor legal deadlines, filing requirements, renewal dates, compliance obligations, and follow-up activities.
Maintain confidential information and handle sensitive legal, business, and personal data in accordance with organizational policies.
Use legal technology, document management systems, e-discovery platforms, case management tools, and productivity software to support legal operations.
Identify process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, document quality, and responsiveness across the legal function.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent practical experience in paralegal studies, legal studies, business, or a related field.
Experience providing paralegal, legal assistant, litigation support, contract administration, or related legal operations support.
Working knowledge of legal terminology, document preparation, legal research, filing procedures, and matter organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and professional legal documents.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters, priorities, deadlines, and confidential information.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, organization, documentation, and follow-through.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools, document management systems, and legal research databases.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Paralegal certification from an accredited program or professional organization.
Experience supporting litigation, corporate law, real estate, employment law, intellectual property, compliance, commercial contracts, or another specialized legal practice.
Experience with e-discovery, litigation support, contract lifecycle management, or legal project management platforms.
Knowledge of federal, state, or local court filing procedures and legal compliance requirements.
Experience preparing deposition materials, hearing binders, trial exhibits, closing documents, or corporate records.
Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, or comparable platforms.

Work Environment and Expectations
Work is generally performed in an office or remote environment and may require collaboration with attorneys, clients, courts, vendors, and other legal professionals.
Occasional overtime, schedule flexibility, travel, or in-person attendance may be required to support hearings, filings, closings, trials, deadlines, or business needs.
